Dear Residents, Families, and Friends,
Hard to believe we are looking at September already! As you know, this has been an extraordinary time, and we continue to do our very best to protect your loved ones and you from the COVID virus.
As doors and businesses have opened, the virus numbers have gone up in the area. There is a higher chance of exposure once again. So, please limit visits to those that are necessary.
We have slowly started to implement a few activities and will continue to do so as we see fit. We are still requesting that out of town family refrain from visiting at this time. Local families, please continue to cut down on your visits. Please do not take Residents out unless necessary. It is not going to help us keep the virus out of the facility if your family member is exposed when out.
Those who have spent time in the hospital or nursing homes will remain in their apartments for 14 days before joining the others. We continue to take temperatures, require face masks (and gloves if necessary), and require hand sanitizing before entering the Harbors.
Our Drive through Hot Dogs fundraiser on 7/30 went far better than we had envisioned. We sold 250 hotdogs and raised $760! Thanks to all.
Stay safe, and stay well,
Kathy Scoggins
